stealth box for the W203?

I checked all the usually places, but i can't find any stealth box sub enclosures for the w203.

Does anyone know any for the w203?

I know i can go custom, but i prefer just to buy a premade one.

Grab yourself the bose sub system and modify it. I put a jl sub in mine and pulled the ****ty bose amp out and put a 150x1 in there, sounds awesome.

There is no such thing unless you go custom or go with what was said above. I went custom and love it. JL Audio W7, 8 in hits so hard people think its 2 12s. Get a bass knob though to regulate the bass to your preference.

search some old school posts from user: BRUNELLESCHI
He had some awesome custom box work done on his W203.
Showed his car at SEMA various times.

Will at least give you good ideas. He is a wizard in sound system stuff, and knows the W203 set up well.

There's a 6x9?

Anyway, i went ahead and got a custom fiberglass box made to fit on the driver's side part of the trunk. I'll try to post a pic later.

right now i swapped out the front speakers and i'm running duel 10'' JL's.

I'm looking to do something probably similar to ryan317 did. I want to have a box that will fit my sub on the sides of the trunk so i can still put down my rear seats when i need too.

I assumed their was before I actually looked my bad. What I was really trying to ask was what size are the speakers that sit behind the back seat in the window ledge?

I have seen a custom box built which held 2 10in subs underneath where the stock sub is and it didnt limit any trunk space and to be honest looked stock with the matching carpet color. Just another idea. I have my sub centered facing the passenger seats and had the rear armrest cut open and have matching cloth covering the hole in order for the bass to come through the seats easier and it is a great setup. I will take pics and post.

I was considering this same idea (also with a JL sub). What size did you shoehorn in there? Did you cut a baffle for it? Was this a coupe or sedan? Any pics?

Lot's of questions for a first post, eh?

BTW, I squeezed a Focal K3P set into my front and rear spots in my coupe, powered by a JL 300/2. It's great but just needs a bit more thump in the chest region.

Looks good Ryan. Good choice joining the MBQ family. Do you always keep your trunk that open? Sheesh! I have everything organized in my trunk with zero room for storage. One of these days we have to meet up and you can laugh at my OCD layout.

Yea, i don't haul around too much. Do you still have the C? I thought you were getting something else.

Thanks. I had a guy make it for me for $60 i think it was. He was also nice enough to walk me through the process so now i can do it on my own. If you can handle fiberglass, making the custom box isn't that hard.

If you're in the Florida area, JL could make a Stealthbox for W203's if you give them your car for a few days. On an X5 forum I go on, somebody stepped up and JL ended up making a stealthbox for all E53 X5's (they also included all bolts and adapter plates to have the unit site flush).

They even paid for your rental car, and gave you the enclosure and sub for free for helping them out!
