thanks thanks

I actually don't know. They had it at Pep Boys, it was just said like "Black out tape, Perfect for chrome molding." But, it only gave me enough for like 75% of the car, so I need to get another roll

I love the "MB" on the Calipers

peace

Do you have crossdrilled rotors? I'm soon looking to upgrade my wheels hopefully within the next few mo or by summer. When I upgrade, it will obviously expose my brakes. But the C280 has the Fugliest Calipers!! I wouldn't mind having calipers like yours and some crossdrilled rotors. Plan was to upgrade to AMG C32 Calipers & Rotors. But i'll be happy with something like the C230.
Will it be a downgrade if I slapped on C230 brake calipers & rotors?

Somebody here knows better than me but.....

The C230's w. Sport Package (2005+ ?) have nice brakes w. the cross drilled rotors. And some year C230 Sport has Brembos upfront as well

I wanna do an AMG///// upgrade though.....SLK 55 I think fits/works well

Thanks Shivi!

Can anyone chime in on this? Will it be a downgrade for me to slap on C230 brakes? I have a C280 with some ugly calipers.

Also, which year C230 has the Brembo's?

I guess I need to go buy some wrap or w/e

but that got me thinking.....

What if I fixed that hole, and then made it so that air could come in from the driver's side too

[IMG][/IMG]

I would remove the plastic you see in the foreground

and then either put in a hose or fiberglass piece to connect it with where the air comes in from the stock set-up

in the end it would look like this, with the black being either a hose or a fiberglass piece

[IMG][/IMG]

I am also going to replace the filter with a BMC

suggestions/opinions?
