Dang Roland, your post is insane! I love how it chronicles virtually everything lol. What brand CF diffuser is that? Honestly, looks like it came from one of my carbon factories lol.

Hahah, yah, I work has a private-label manufacturer of carbon for a lot of companies (OEM and aftermarket). We don't really import a lot of Mercedes carbon but our factory definitely has the capabilities and molds for Mercedes parts. We actually focus more on BMW carbon because there's a much larger aftermarket for BMW owners. If you look in the BMW forums, the majority of carbon sold there is branded and sold through one of our companies. lol
Anyway, we do mostly production for distribution though. Here's a sample![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Glad to see you on this forum. If anyone hasn't met Mike he is a stand up guy. Welcome to the family Mike. Just watch out for this guy name Patrick_Lowkey. He always asks for help and invites you to his house. 99.9% of the time I can't remember what I did at his house but I remember this... I went to his house to do Xenon=Present and I was thirsty so I asked him for some water. Dude, I woke up with a sore a$$ hole. I said what happened? he said nothing what are you talking about.
He makes crazy comments. Once he told me he is the human mouse trap. He says he sticks a piece of cheese in his a$$ hole and waits for a mouse to go in. Once the mouse goes in he crunches his butt cheeks and traps the mouse.
Just stay away from him...other than that everyone is cool

LMAO! Wow Karo, that's insane! That happened to me once too... Not by Lowkey though... Let's just say that a man named Big_Black stuck me with a syringe and I woke up hours later in an alley behind a spearmint rhino wearing a kimono, geisha makeup, a fluffy pokemon slipper and a homemade shoe made from ductape and tupperware... Needless to say, I had to skitch a ride on the back of a Jeep on my skateboard (much like the opening scene to back to the future) to get home.

Sadly, it's true. It's so annoying though! BMW makes 3034960t239680 ga-gillion variants of their body lines so the smallest change will throw off an entire run of product. I seriously hate BMWs too... Personal reasons... Only thing that I like about them is that 1 in 3 owners modifies. Mercedes owners aren't as frequent to modify but I figure that the majority of old chinese onwers wouldn't like to upgrade the boost or body lines lol.
OH, btw, I read in your post about covering or painting the roof... You should totally take it back to Aero Tect. We took two cars there for SEMA to have them wrapped in 3m carbon vynl and matte black. You serisouly can't tell the difference between the paint and vynl either.

Honestly, we paid quite a bit because we covered almost 1/3 of the BMW 650 in matte black and carbon. The 650 was hard as hell to do because the car is wider than the widest available material so the material had to be stretched. The 370z we did was like 300something but it was a very hard to wrap body kit. If I remember correctly, it's roughly 100-150 for a simple roof wrap.

more good luck!
i was driving home from work tonight, when i was on the 710 south just north of the 105 fwy. when i hit a big bump. They are doing construction around there, its basically a bump made from old concrete and new asphalt that wasnt flattened or something. Its a pretty new bump cuz i know this fwy very well, i know what lanes to drive in and where not to. Anyway i hit the bump pretty hard, i actually thought my wheel would have bent. But everything seemed to be fine... when i exited i heard a rubbing noise...

I dont know how, but a piece of my inner wheel well lining was ripped and torn to shreds. Now there is a big hole right in front of my tire. The piece that covers the bottom was hanging on, my tire was rubbing it as i drove. I had to screw that back in.
It shredded the inside of my tire, not bad, but enough..

sorry to hear about your bad luck... hopefully things will turn around for the both of us...

I'm sorry that happened your luck seems as bad as mine. I know how much of a pain the wheel well thing can be. With all the snow we've gotten where I live the same thing happened, then my HID ballast came unglued and is now gone lol. By the way even with the bad luck your car is still incredible looking.

Hahah, just a thought... On the way home from Huntington Beach, my girlfriend and I were in Brea and spotted an Audi Q5 Premium Plus suv. She pointed out that it was debadged and she barely recognized it.
I replied, "ya, some people do that to make their cars look cleaner... others... well they just do it to hide that they bought the cheapest model available". Glad you're #1 of the 2 lol
