I finally picked my car up from C&C Collision yesterday after driving around with a pos rental car for a week. But before i brought it in I picked up a CF diffuser to have them install while it was there
they said this was a pita to install. I thought it would be, before bringing it in, when i put it up to the car, it looked like it wouldn't fit. But luckily the final outcome is pretty good. Its only held on by glue, some industrial strength stuff that they use.
Here are some pics i just took:
I really like the look, but i think i have to do quad tips now, to fill up the space...

I Havent posted up in my thread in awhile. Thought id put this up, even though its not good.... my driver side fog light went out awhile ago, then my passenger side fog light went out shortly after. I thought it was just the bulb, I went down to VIP Status to have some new bulbs installed, when they tested it and found out the Ballasts are bad and not the bulbs. These are ddm HID kits which are supposed to be pretty good, dont know why they went bad in less than a year. They have a lifetime warranty, so ill hopefully ill get a full replacement.
gonna be sending these back soon. what a waste of time and money this is.

the bulbs will be fine. All the chinese bulbs are actually 35watt bulbs they just stick them in with the 55watt ballasts. The only true 55watt hid bulb is the Philips DL50. But those are insanely expensive for bulbs and somewhat rare.

Thanks Karo. Yes this is the ebay one. Ive been waiting for a long time to buy one from someone who makes them here, but i really don't see that happening at all anymore. Quality, is better than i thought it would be...

Always loved your car Roland.... I was waiting for someone here to make the diffuser too but since yours looks so good with the ebay one I might just bite the bullet and order one too.

i was driving home from work tonight, when i was on the 710 south just north of the 105 fwy. when i hit a big bump. They are doing construction around there, its basically a bump made from old concrete and new asphalt that wasnt flattened or something. Its a pretty new bump cuz i know this fwy very well, i know what lanes to drive in and where not to. Anyway i hit the bump pretty hard, i actually thought my wheel would have bent. But everything seemed to be fine... when i exited i heard a rubbing noise...
I dont know how, but a piece of my inner wheel well lining was ripped and torn to shreds. Now there is a big hole right in front of my tire. The piece that covers the bottom was hanging on, my tire was rubbing it as i drove. I had to screw that back in.
It shredded the inside of my tire, not bad, but enough..

In my culture we have this Evil Eye thing. Maybe a lot of people are envious of your car. You should get the Evil Eye charm. Do you guys have stuff like that in your culture? Stuff to bring good luck and to fight off bad luck? (superstition)

no worries, at least it was something easily fixable..
my culture has a lot of superstitions, but ive never heard of this one... i try not to buy into all that stuff either... its cool, no need to worry about it, i doubt people are envious of my car... thanks though... Ill definitely have to try this evil eye thing on some people though..
