I actually got them from a local on here. Think he had quite a bit of miles on them. but you'll know when you need to get them overhauled just like normal struts. to do an overhaul its 75 a damper, it includes clean up, inspection, replace (all) seal, change damper oil, and labor. so basically 300 for all 4 dampers. all you do is fill out the service form from their site, tell them what you want done and send them off to the tein in CA or GA, they'll visually inspect the struts and then they'll email or call you with an estimate of how much it'll cost. Then you tell them if you want to proceed or not. They'll most likely email you with an spreadsheet attachment showing you a list of what is going to be done, how much it'll cost, the total cost +/-, how long it'll take to complete. they usually do UPS C.O.D or you can do paypal or use a credit card but they'll charge you the extra 3% using it.
Also make sure the coilovers are taken part, all they really want is the dampers, so take off the hats, springs, perches, seats, bump stops, EVERYTHING! lol if not, any disassembly work they do will be an extra 20 per damper. Here's the link to show all the prices for what can be done, you can even do custom damping for your struts if you want for extra. But be sure you're looking at the Twin Tube Design and in the Basic column for the prices. Also they have the pdf of the service form to print out that you need to send with the dampers. Hope that helps...

so last week Jerry(jreC230) came over, to try and make my steering controls work with my Kenwood DNX8120. I went to a few of the better car audio shops and none of them knew if it could be done. PAC SWI company didnt know if their modules would work on my car. Their parts are for w203 01-04 only.
Well i gotta give Jerry props, after hooking it up, then upgrading the file, he got it to work. My steering wheel controls are working!!!
The volume works, the phone buttons can answer and end a call. when there is no call, the hang up button is a mute button. The arrows can search through my presets or go to the next track. This is awesome, ive been waiting and researching this for a very long time since nobody knew if it would work. Finally I can say it does!
The only thing, which is not a really big deal, is the arrow buttons when searching through presets/tracks also scrolls through the dash screen like normal at the same time....
Thanks again Jerry!

This morning before the Meet at Tiajuana's i installed a sprint booster.
using these instructions: https://mbworld.org/forums/2112493-post384.html
they say its a quick install, i gotta say its not the hardest thing to do, but it is a pain in the a**. If you follow these directions, definitely pay attention to the #3 step, this makes it so much easier.

the work actually only took me about 20 mins, but i kept stopping and walking into a nice air conditioned house so with everything included it was about an hour... But putting the gas pedal back into place was a *****, because i couldn't see where the top of the pedal was going and it was hitting something. Doing step 3 above makes it so much easier since it helps you to see where the top of the pedal goes...
