I put a 5000k 55w HID kit in my low beams and fog lights. Only took one pic and its not very good. Cant tell from pic, but its pretty bright...

I also changed the city light to a whiter bulb that i got on ebay. The bulb is not that bright, ill be throwing in some Piaa bright white wedge bulbs soon. I haven't taken a pic of the bulb in there right now, but will soon....

dude, I like this set up. Are you sure that's mandrel bend? It looks crimp to me.. Regardless, That is clean work!! Did you have to do the cut out on your bumper yourself? If you don't mind me asking, roughly how much did this work run you?

Great looking exhaust!
Won't make any difference on these cars having mandrel bent tubing vs squish bent, not enough CI's to worry about.

i think everything before the muffler is mandrel bent, but after isnt... AAA exhaust in LA did the bumper cutout for me, pretty clean job for a muffler shop and not a body shop. If i remember correctly i paid close to $600 or a little under that for the muffler, tips, bumper cutout, piping and labor...

yes, did the cutout on the right side... quad exhaust looks nice, you should do it. I might be switching to quad when i get my cf diffuser, let me rephrase that, if i ever get my cf diffuser..

That is clean work! specially that cut out. Didn't expect a muffler shop to be able to do a cut out that clean. I've had my fair share of custom exhaust work in the past. Valley Mufflers in West Co., Sweeneys in Torrance. So far yours is the cleanest i've seen. Imma have to hit up AAA exhaust and do up a set up like yours when my wallet loosens up a bit.

lol...when i was negotiating wit him about pricing and all, i was askin him why pepe was gonna charge me so much more than your setup, and he said that CUSTOM ELITE was made better than the magnaflows or some shiiit, then he said somethin bout how your pipes werne't mandrel bent...

yeah mine was...it figures why yours was like 600 and mine was....790?

yeah i did post a couple pics..its somewhere in the aftermarket exhaust thread...page 52 i think?

yeah after a couple months, it has gotten a little louder...im gettin used to the drone (except my friends still cant stand it in the back seat!)...but in terms of the power and backpressure...seems as though there may be a little backpressure...not much though or too noticeable...

i do push the car a little more than i normally do since i want to work that exhaust... but i dont notice any change in mpg...stillget like over 25 mpg on highway

K&N

Installed the K&N filter on friday..

Its been about 20K miles since i changed air filters, this one was pretty dirty

the airbox had some leaves and sand in it...

cleaned it out and installed the K&N...

I know there is a lot of disagreements about the K&N, but i've had one in all my previous cars without any problems. I figure ill just see how it is, if i cant feel any significant difference then ill throw an oem filter back in...

I didn't have time to clean the MAF sensor, hopefully i can do it within the next couple weeks....
