Did u know?
the 2002 2.3 is 60lbs heavier than the new1.8 2003,but u get 3 less hp,i was going through the new 2003 brochure,and found the curb weight so i compared the 2,and came to this conclusion,thought i would share with everybody

M111: 280 Nm @ 2500-4800 rpm (2300 rpm peak)
M 271: 260 Nm @ 3500-4000 rpm (500 rpm peak)

or, 207 ft*lbs vs. 192 ft*lbs, if you prefer 19th century measurements

isn't the rear axle ratio for the '03 a 3.46? versus the 3.27 in the '02?
