Car runs a lot better with air box cleaned!
i got bored and decided to clean out my air box and check the filters last night... first time attempt and its actually really easy to get to.
the filters were still clean, paper was still white so i didn't bother changing them although i do have new filters in the back of my car. after taking out all the screws god damn its dirty inside. there was a lot of sand and bugs. i guess this is a good thing because this means that it's actually doing the job. i took the filters out and hit them on the ground a few times to clean them i found that one filter was a lot dirtier than the other. i dk if this is normal. i was so amazed that after a simple cleaning my car seemed to run a lot better than before. my exhaust also seemed softer than before cleaning i dk?
anyways for those that havent clean your air box do so ASAP before winter! its def worth it!
