Welcome Mike one question. What kind of bulb are you using for your city lights?

 

+1 wondering the same thing too. Looks nice with the whole light housing light up instead of just one really bright spot.

Nice car! Why don't you mount the euro plate?

 

i still dont know if it illegal or not. anyone here from Portland OR have ever put there euro on and got away from the cop before?

 

As long as Oregon doesn't require a front plate you should be good to go. If they do though: Seeing as that you don't have ANY front plate mounted, it really doesn't matter whether or not you mount your euro plate, the fine will be the same.

 

hmm ic. yeah i saw a guy with w203 has one around my town and wiht euro plate without hes real one in the front so i guess i can try..thanks!

Honestly, unless you live in a place where cops have nothing better to do than pull you over, just do it. It looks cool, and if you just used some velcro or double sided tape, its easy to remove too! I'm actually thinking about ordering a custom euro plate with black background and silver letters.

 

ur city lights are slightly dimmer than the oems huh?

 

I don't have front plates on any of my cars in PDX and I haven't had any issues.

personally I wouldn't put any plate of any kind on the top of the dashboard. I would not want that thing fly at me when i'm in some sort of accident. mount it on the front using velcro or mount it on the back by getting the Euro plate insert for the trunk.

the Lorinser side doesn't go with the Brabus front and rear btw. I'd sell'em and get some 01-04 sport side skirt or 05-07 luxury side skirt (they're the same) 05-07 luxury came to US with the Avantgarde/sport bodykit.

i think they are 10 bucks, but the light output is lower than the OEM's, which means its dimmer...

man 10 bucks is worth it cuz it changes the whole complexion of the car!

i think the reason his whole city light area is lit up is because he has the frosted headlights on. it was the same for me when i had my stockies on. when it's clear, it's harder for it to be entirely covered.

but my LED's now fill the whole thing up
