Tele-Aid SOS Message

I do not know if Tele-Aid is still in business but my subscription expired about 4 years ago. Nonetheless, the Tele-Aid light was bright and flashing when I turned the car on Friday evening. When I pushed the button, it tried to dial in to Tele-Aid and I was subjected to several loud error BEEPS before the system gave up with indications of 2 malfunctions. After a restart, all was well.

Has anyone experienced this?
Does anyone know how I can prevent this from recurring?

Kal

Anybody know how to get the Teleaid SOS warning to stop displaying every time the car starts? It's embarassing every time I get in and out of the car I'm reminded that I don't have Teleaid and it's a 'malfunction'

Sounds like something the dealer will have to turn off using the Star Diag.
