I believe that the wires in the second picture(brown blue pink) must have a yellow plug connector. The plug should be connected in the front of passenger seat(bend over when you sit on it) after the empty plug next to the other yellow plug(brown, brown/blue)

Wow the passenger side has 6 different colored wires than the driver side having 4, I had to deal with the drivers side and it was blue to green and brown to yellow. You could go off that and do a process of elimination until it works, otherwise I could unbolt the seat check tomorrow

spyder, the first pic is the plug and the second is the wires that came out on the other end.

so with the white, red, brown; which goes to the pink, blue, brown?

good idea...only problem with the theory is that if you get the wrong wires, it will throw a code that has to be removed using STAR. I did it last week...just lucky i have friends in high places..

If anyone could check the pass seat that has his car, that would be the prefered method...

If the SRS light is on,,it can only be turned off in STAR.

When working on cars SRS system,,if you unplug something then never turn on the ignition or the lamp will light and have to be removed

Its a safety issue

That looks like the plug and socket in your hand

Really? because I never used STAR to get rid of my experience with the srs light. I had the same problem and stripped some wires and connected them by hand and taped them together . . . price of FREE!

yes sir, basically you got the correct one the first time (or you didnt power up the car with the wrong connection)

If it reads a voltage change or a short it stores it in the SRS and front SAM and has to be cleared. I would imagine that is as if the SRS light is on, the airbags will not deploy.

It took us an hour or so to find the right screen in star to get rid of the damn message...

sux...

Cool...you got it....I went out to my car the other day to check for ya, but duh...
I checked the drivers side, which doesn't have those wires...and wasn't what you asked for...
and then the GF showed up...never got back around to checking the passenger side.
Glad you got it.
