Oh, that's right - you have an automatic - you wouldn't understand.

Erik - I might have pics of most of em, of course I've been through several hosting sites, so might not have access any more.

That spoiler does look good, from the limited pics I can see. Get that mystery mod installed - +5hp!

Dude, you seriously like to rub that fact in don't ya.

Hey, just remember, that was out of consideration of family. So despite my personal wishes (originally, I was going to order a manual tranny), I compromised for selfless reasons .

Haha, you would think after 3 years I would have just opened the plastic and placed it in my truck...nope, way too lazy.

Let me know about the pics.

Thanks,

Erik, I'll see what I can do - maybe will put up a shiftknob timeline.

Drex, I know how you love to be reminded. Oh, picking up my Ultraleggeras tomorrow at lunchtime from the powdercoaters. Now waiting on the tires - should be early next week when they're on, and I can have fun with the car again.

LOL...Yeah, I'm always , when I think about what it would be like to have a manual on my car instead. Well, at leas

That's awesome, bro! Didn't know you were getting them powdercoated! That's even better sounding. Can't wait to see them. Hopefully, if everything goes as planned (knock on wood), I'll have some pics of mine on Sunday!

Yeah, very little self control. I'm going to need to sell my silver ones after I get the black ones.

Like I said, after this, I'm done...well except for the shift knob...and the AVIC-Z1 if it's hackable.

Yeah last time I said it I was serious...a week later I parted my car out and sold it stock (with about 5 mods never installed). I'm keeping my coupe for another 45,000 miles...I've made that decision and I need to stick with it. I'm already at the point where my mods are worth more then my car...I'm actually closer to 150%, I don't want to get near 200% of it's worth. I need to draw the line somewhere. Thankfully, unlike Hondas and such, the amount and frequency of aftermarket parts (new ones) isn't as great so I won't be tempted too often.

Totally true, man. AND another thing is that the aftermarket goods that we would end up buying for this car are twice as expensive as other cars, which sometimes makes it harder to justify the purchase. Either way, I think you're good with what you've gotten the past month or so. Did you put Kleeman badges on?

Well the Kleemann letters went on the engine cover. The symbol pack, 1 went on the hood (you can sort of see it in the Bi-X pics) and the other 1 went on the engine cover. The 2 pack side badges have not been installed yet...I'm still debating putting them on.

I never have time to do them. It's a 4 hour round-trip to get to the shop...and everytime I'm there it's a whole day affair. Maybe when I get the rims put on I'll have enough time to get her dyno'd.

I think I missed the Saprissa coupe thread during my hiatus...maybe I'll look it up.

Rims are on:

And because you people wouldn't leave me alone...

As I'm told, you lose 30% from flywheel to wheel.

If the stock 189 is correct, then you should see around 132 on the dyno.
I pulled 153 on the dyno, which is about 219 corrected.

219 - 189 = +30 HP.

I was told I should get around +40, but if you figure I lost about 2-3 on the dyno for my heavier, larger rims, and 2-3 due to the RENNtech IC...it seems alright. This is all assuming the factory 189 was true to my car, which we have no idea if it is or isn't.

Torque was nearly perfect for the +40 they claimed.

If the stock 192 torque is correct, then it should be 134 on the dyno.
I pulled 162 on the dyno, which is about 231 corrected.

231-192 = +39 ftlbs torque.

Overall, I'm very happy with the setup and everything.

Erik

I am until I find something better...NJ requires a front plate so I have a bracket, MI doesn't so I removed the plate, but I still have the bracket. My dealer only had the plate with the star...if you have any suggestions I'd be up for it because I haven't had a chance to find something else. Just the bracket alone looks even worse, trust me.

Did Kleemann do an ECU upgrade on your car? Some guy from another message board gave Kleemann his car to work on for the header and an ECU upgrade so you can get better performance from the header. Either way if you did or didnt can you fell the difference when you take off? I would rather have more torque this is why I am asking. I will have my Kleemann header installed as soon as they relealse it. I wasnt aware that they released the head yet. Well anyway you car looks hot and keep up the mods!

This makes me wonder if I should post my dyno .

flip

Here's my dyno for comparison - though obviously my hardware is 1/2 different (heh) from Eriks. Alas, I too suffer the heavy wheel loss . The before dyno was w/ just the Kleemann pulley kit, the after dyno w/ prototype CarLAB headers.

Ahh, cant believe I missed replies to this one.

pugguy2001 - yes, I can feel the power off the line. I felt more off the line power before the headers, with the headers I feel more power from 3-5K.

mig888 - I was told Mustang dynos show lower #s then Dynojet one's.

Outland - I'm only going by what i was told.

c230 o5 - Did you get the black centercaps or the silver B's? My ebay seller said he ran out of black stars and sent Bs and would send black stars when he gets more in stock. I didn't want to roll with Bs and I didn't want to have to remove my rims just to put the centers in and I didn't want to go without centers so I had the body shop paint the silver ones. It cost me $40 extra, but I had peace of mind.
