C230 2002 console upgrade to 2005

i am thinking of upgrading my 2002 center console to the 2005 look. i have everything (2005 standard CD HU, AC control, & flash buttons) the new ac control and flash buttons have the same connections as the2002 model. but the new CD HU connection plug is very different. I was wondering if anybody adapted the 2002 plug to be able to connect the 2005 CD HU. and do i need any code to program the radio
thank you

D2B (2001-2004.5) to MOST (2005+) Conversion

I have had a few people asking me about converting from d2b to most system found on 2005 C class cars. IT is a lot of work and a lot of parts. here is a link to my car with some info in case anyone was interested.

You must have the patience of a saint! Along with a garage and another car to use in the interim. Either way, very impressive work. You probably know more than all the techs at my dealership combined.

It would be a shame to lose this information

I see you haven't posted in a year, but maybe you will check in again. It's a shame this like is broken, since it seems to have a lot of hard to find information about the media network system. I wonder if you could make this available again to the community?
Thanks.
