Any shops around the NYC area with a Star Diagnosis System?
Does anyone know of a shop in the NYC area (Staten Island, NJ, Brooklyn especially) with a Star Diagnosis System where I could get some programming done rather than going to the stealership?
I called one "Mercedes Specialist" shop here on SI and they don't have one. I don't understand how you can be a MB shop and not have a SDS but oh well...

Do you know if this place in BK has engineering mode activated by any chance and would know how to do more complex coding like enabling lock/unlock beeps while keeping panic mode? I really appreciate it!

i just came from here and lady ask me model and year just prepare the papers for diagnosis how much ?? 120 bucks .. and i said thanks and quit.. thats exacatly stealership price..
and the problem was ac not blow cold ..
elegant star brookyn just go dealers same price . thats dealers tactic small shop should just have look try to understand what the hell is that then ask you if we put computer its will cost you 120 .. or what ever
i know a few place in new york do like that any pm i will answer i m not happy with my mechanic but still better then those ppl who think they must make money as a dealer

and was fixed only in 10 min for next time no problem

call mike # 917-282-5112, he has star and can hook u up. But he works in NYC and you have to schedule it with him so he can get the star with him when he travles up to work. Nice guy...
