Question about A-service

OK I got a problem. Currently I have about 8600 miles on my car and I need to bring it for service A but my appointment isnt until Feb 19 which is over a month away. I'm not sure but I've heard that if you go over 9000 miles, MB wont service your car or at least you'd have to pay for it out of your pocket. Is this true. I dont think I can hold out for that long. I'm sure I'm gonna go over 9000 miles before Feb 19.

That's wrong- My car had about 11K on it when I took it in and there was no problem. Just change your appt for whenever you need it. Thye did mine while I waited.

I've got 12,000 + miles on my Coupe, and I'm still showing 2100 miles to 'A' Service. Supposedly, the harder you drive, the sooner FSS tells you it's time for a little TLC. I don't totally understand it, becasue I drive the hell out of my car. I guess it'll be 14,000+ until my A...maybe I need to drive harder.

Mine said 2,000 miles to Service A for the longest time. Then, it finally got to 1,000 miles and I got an appointment. Service indicator then started to show Service B which is what I got at 13,600 miles! No arguments from MB dealer, either.

So, it didn't even get a Service A.
