MAGAZINE stuck... won't eject
Hi,
I took my w203 out for a spin yesterday, as it has been sitting under the carport for at least 2 weeks. the temp. was around -3C..
when I started my car, the APS30 was flashing.. activating navigation, it was turning on and off.. so I turned it off and drove for around 30min to warm up the car a little.. the APS30 was running fine again.. but the Magazine in the Changer was making some noise and I couldnt eject it..
has anyone had similar problem?
Mike

I had to take out the whole cd changer and use a flat head to force the stucked CD bracket back into the magazine.

Happened to me as well. It still does occassionally, well rarely, but when it does happen...
1) Push the eject button, and let it try to eject.
2) Push the magazine back in until you hear the click it makes when it fully engages.
3) Push the eject button all the way in and hold it a second, and you should get a good eject of the magazine.
I think the mechanism looses it's location/sync at times. I don't think I've ever had a perfect, no problem external changer before. Only the internal disc changers seem to be somewhat better.

I checked the magazine with a torch today, one of the bracket is stucked. I tried pushing it back with a flat head but it does not seem easy...
is there just one screw that I need to remove in oder to take out the whole changer?
happy new year!
