C230 Sport Coupe
designo colours for C230 coupe 2003
Has anyone seen designo exterior colours colours that are available for 2003 C230 coupe? CanadaCarCost site shows $2690.00 for designo package(orange, brilliant black, ocean blue, silver, gold, black mocca, graphite green), and $2025.00 for leather upholstery.
I am looking for pics of above designo colours. Would also like to know what designo interior choices are as well.
$665.00 difference for designo colours looks like a good deal.
Dealer here in Sudbury does not have 2003 colour chart, just 2002 colour chart. The 2003 C Class literture does not show colour choices for 2003.
Please advise Dan

Some colours that you mention are in my 2001 colour chart. Surely you don't want to have an orange car, unless you're planning to crash it for the EuroNCAP or Transport Canada
Also, does Sudbury still suffer from severe acid rain? I thought it does. If so, paying a lot more for fancy paint might not be the wisest choice. I'd have to take a white car if I lived in an acid rain-prone area like Trail BC or Sudbury ON.
I used to work in Trail, the town with the world's largest lead-zinc smelter. So I know of what I write - all horizontal surfaces on my metallic beige 405 had to be resprayed after I moved to Vancouver Island from the West Kootenays.

I think the Canadacarcost.com site is just a little bit ahead of the curve here. I was looking on the European ( Germany and UK) MB sites for info about designo cost and colors. They talked about designo in gereral but had no specifics about it. This is the first time I have seen color information. BTW the prices seem a little low because heretofore designo has been paint and leather (and mats, etc) at a high price. If the standard leather upgrade is ~$2K and a designo (w/ full nappa leather and metallic paint) is only ~$3K, then something seems a little fishy to me.
