I can get a set for $230 shipped...just don't want any alignment probs.

I'm assuming the Coupe and Sedan are very similar so it doesn't make any difference which car here...

thanks in advance !!

The fronts can be aligned using longer camber bolts, about $22 at the dealer. The rears will have about 1/2 degree of negative camber.

The rear is going to wear unevenly but that is the price of handling. There is no rear camber kit yet for the C class. Its still worth it.

My Sedan have only toe adjustment front and rear. I have them print out before and after alignment. I have H&R spring, the front is almost out of spec -0.5L, -0.6R spec is -0.63 max. The rear is a little out -1.7L, -2.0R spec is -1.56. I'm using thin rubber spacer in the rear. I'll change that to the thicker pad hopefully bring the rear camber back closer to spec.

Right Left
before after before after spec
F Camber -0.6 -0.6 -0.5 -0.5 -.27 +- 0.36
F Caster 11.0 11.0 10.7 10.7 10.18 +- 0.50
F Toe 0.03 0.17 0.02 0.17 0.17 +- 0.08

R Camber -1.8 -2.0 -1.6 -1.7 -1.06 +- 0.50
R Toe 0.35 0.22 0.28 0.22 0.27 +- 0.06

With #4 spring pads in the rear and the camber/caster correction bolts up front, you should be able to get your car back within spec.

Wouldn't the old trick of grinding a little adjustment room out of the shock mounts work here?

Done that on struts before to adjust the back (on another car) then just need to find someone competant to align it.

sure it would work, but I wouldn't do it. After lowering a w203, it isn't that far out of alignment. I don't have any unusuall wear on my tires.

bumping this up again..

wanted to see if everyone gets the longer camber bolts for the front or if some just align it as close as possible....

also if I get the bolts at MB, I just hand them over to the alignment shop and tell them "here, you might need these to get the alignment to within spec"....?

The True OG Modded out W203
I didn't get the longer camber bolts. I had my car aligned 2 weeks after installing my springs. Everything seems ok w/the tires, I had a tire guy check them last week. But then again, I've only had the car dropped for about 3 months...Good luck.
