Side corners bulbs
Hi all,
I am thinking about purchasing clear corner lenses for my coupe from Autodynamic.com and I was wondering if these bulbs (194/168 Super White Bulb
Product ID: 194-168-WHITE)
Price: $2.00
would be right for the side markers How do you think it will look like?
Thanks

Yes, 194 is the right number. I put Eaglite Max 194 5w on my corners and I love how it looks. You might want to check out midnightmoose.com. They have alot of good products at reasonable prices.

But if you gotta have the clear bulbs that flash amber, then you gotta search around... or lightly dust the amber bulbs with silver spray paint. Others have done this with acceptable results.

I just found that out the hard way, the passenger side fit perfect while the driver side was loose as hell. So now I need another set, who sells a good product?

These aftermarket lenses do NOT always fit well... you have to "adjust" them. Some people have used a hot hair drier to soften and bend the prongs that press the unit tightly into the hole. On mine, I cut some 0.030" modelling plastic into small strips and super glued them to the prongs, which accomplished the same goal. Mine fit very tightly, now.
Also, keep in mind the bumpers on the sedans have a recess where these lenses fit, while the Coupes do not have the recess.

I tried the whiter bulbs out there, but in the end (just recently actually) I fitted the Hyperwhite LED bulbs in the side markers as well. What a tremendous difference, even when compared to the Phillips BlueVision W5W bulbs! I'll have to post the pictures soon
