C230 C-Coupe
Ordered a C230 but what about service?
List, I ordered my C230 yesterday, with an expected build for end of feb and an expected pickup for end of March.
Black C230 C-Coupe
Oyster Leather
Auto
C2
As recommended I ordered from Laguna Niguel for $700 over invoice. No haggling just on the table. Nice and easy.
But what about the service? MB comes with a four year service included. Will this be picked up by any MB service centre?
Also I am concerned about Warranty work. Do you find that service centres are happy to take it on? I assume they get paid by MB but for less money?
Please advise as I have a local dealer playing injured and heading service warnings for buying in SO cal.

i've never run into this kind of problem where a service dept will take it out on you if you don't buy the car there. i think most sales / service / parts depts are separate. make friends w/ the service dept and there won't be any problems. and the technicians should be professionals.
nice job on the purchase. i paid full price. (i got 2 key rings though! whoo hoo

I've taken my car to three separate dealers, and all three were more than willing to treat me as if I purchased the car there. My current dealer took it upon himself to replace the license plate frames with his dealer frames. (upon my approval though)......

no problem..
Any dealership knows that you won't keep your current1 car forever, and if you come to their store for service, you'll include it on your list of places to shop for the NEXT MB!
