current kit does not come with gasket... but you should get one from your local auto parts store (make sure its metal). we need to talk to cory to see if he can include them in future kits.
Continued review:
the car starts to pull at 3k rpm now. before it didn't really until around 4k rpm. and now i can feel it throughout the rpm range 3k to 5-6k... and it doesnt seem to let down. before it was more obvious when i passed peak torque and it would start to drop around 5k rpm.

I've got the auto w/ no other modifications. The cat has about 4k miles on it since installation. I can't really say that I feel any gains with just this mod..but the car is definitely more fun to drive with the exhaust tune being meaner. It seems like a great starting point for other modifications as well, if I go that route. I don't think my budget this summer will allow for everything I'd like, so I'm not too sure as to what I'm going to do. I'm not a huge fan of the high-rev noise in 1st gear..It seems to give that vibrating whine a little much (around 4k rpm or so), although it has matured a bit with use. (Maybe it just needs to warm up? Not sure how it was installed.) Might look into a resonator in the spring. But 3rd gear is a blast! Since I'm in tax season I tend to leave the office when traffic is really light and the car is a blast! I've gotten a few thumbs up from some Kompressor coupes as well, but have yet to find an M271 buddy in traffic.

I have had my kleemann header on for little more than a year. I am still fighting a P0420 code that happens around 2700 rpm @ 70 mph on a partial load condition. I even put new pre and post-cat O2 sensors in.

Dont know how it is by your headers, but i had 3 oxygen sensor holes in the kleemann Cat.
1 before the cat.
1 at the cat.
1 after the cat.
My oxygen sensors are 1 before the cat and 1 after the cat!!
Dont know if that is the problem....

Have you put the oxygen sensor in the right hole?

Ever since the service that light has been going on and off (it tends to stay on for days at a time..then will go off for a day...then it'll come back on again). It doesn't seem to be affecting performance.
I'm wondering if he did something that affected the sensor...or if it's maybe just the cold weather that's been doing it. The exhaust does smell a bit rich before it warms up.

I had mine for about 3k miles and they were doing great. After that it went in for service (34k miles...it was my 1st 10k miles with the car). The mechanic was a mercedes authorized dealer and a client of my dad's who treats me well. Ever since the car came back from service, my check engine light has been kicking on and off. I had him check the issue last weekend when I brought it in for an oil change and he mentioned it was a cat sensor causing the light to go off.

Not yet. I've been so busy with tax season that I'm going to try and wait it out until April (unless I can borrow a backup car from a family member one weekend).
I figure I'll take it to the kleemann installer and have them check. I want to see about getting my calipers painted red while I"m there too. I figure that could add like 30hp

On mine, I did replace both sensors when I first got the light last year. I would really hate to spend another $$$ on another new front sensor if it isn't the cause of the problem.
I have no degradation of performance; however, the exhaust does seem to be black and the sensor was black when I removed it to check. I hope it isn't a messed up ECU. I still get between 24-27 mpg in town and 28-31 mpg on highway, so I do not know if the apparent rich condition is causing my woes.
Sorry to jack the thread
