question about seats

so i have a 02 c230 coupe with cloth seats and im about to acquire leather power seats and i was wondering if i needed anything special.....

any type of harness etc....

the seats are from a 04 c230 wagon .

If you want them to work you'll need the seat control modules (one under each seat) and the seat positioning switches on the doors. I don't know if the door panels need to be changed as well....or the holes for the switches are filled with a cover. I'm guessing the wiring is present in all the models.

im pretty sure that the seats come with the control modules built in so that should make my life just a little easier

Don't the seats come with positioner controls on the seat itself? Aren't the door ones only for the full power seat models with memory?

Yes, unless they are part of the memory, mirror, steering, seat package in which case you need the door controlers.. - at least that's in South Africa.
