1.What is the correct Torque specification for the Bolts that affix the Vacuum
Pump to the Timing Cover on OM602 + OM 603 engines?
2.What is the "Modification" ("For cost reasons") referred to in the FSM notation
pictured below?
Is not the information that some bean counter decided to DownGrade (?UpGrade?) your Vacuum Pump for "Cost" reasons Terrifying?
[We can find a reference to a section number for the Vacuum Pump on a W126
617.951 BUT even in there NO TORQUE INFORMATION]
Pierburg (the Manufacturer) will provide no info and defaults to MB.
