Service A
Just dropped my 230coupe off for Service A. Was asked if I wanted to rotate tires and balance wheels. Informed that the charge would be $83. I said OK but thought this was a bit of a rip off.
Anybody get charged for this (I'm not complaining about the fact that there is a charge) and if so, how much? Thanks.

well, seeing how the balance and alignment are covered for the first 12000 miles or 1 year, i would *****. if they are going to remove the wheels to check balance then they can rotate them for free. i would not pay it, they are trying to rip you off.

In service A the dealer did not rotate the tires on my car but at service B they did. It was included in the price of the service. I don't know how it is done in the U.S but in Canada we have to pay like $290 for Service A and $390-$400 For Service B.
