1999 CLK320 (sold), 2007 C230 SS (gone), 2000 Grand Marquis, 2011 CR-Z, stay tuned...
I love that these cars go forever! My Cs still low, but my '99 CLK is 231,000+!

107k and still driving like new. Yes it needs maintenance ($$$), but since the car has been paid off for years now, it's a LOT less than a new car payment. I'll probably keep this one going for another 100k or so, if it keeps running like it is now.

My Bro's 2004 W203 C230SS is reaching 81,000Miles
My friend's 2005 W203 C230SS is reaching 85,000 miles
I think MBZ makes these cars bulletproof............
Our family decide to keep my bro's C230SS forever untile one day it won't run because our 1999 4-cylinders Accord has 320,149 miles on clock......and still running

No major problems, Air condition failed twice, radiator replaced once, exhaust replaced once, and Oxygen sensor replaced once. We only do oil chance every 3K miles, tranny oil flush every 15k miles, and regular flush on break fluid, tranny fluid, and other regular maintain.
Accord is a really nice car for daily commute. Car is always garaged and looks in good shape except rims....cuz of rash and curb....>"<

My sister's 2000 Honda Prelude had the transmission replaced at 100,200 miles by a Honda dealership in San Francisco for a little over $600. Honda goodwilled some of the expense. Last month at 108,000 miles the engine seized. The cost for a brand new Honda 2 litre VTEC engine with labor at the dealership with a 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty was $6,500. She did the oil changes every 3000 miles. She says the car runs like new know. My 1990 Honda Civic with 97,000 miles has a very whinny transmission noise. It has done stop and go New York driving for the past 19 years, so I will accept it breaking down. But I will junk this Civic when either the engine or tranny goes. I guess not everyone has the same good experience with Honda. One of the main reasons my family decided to go with Mercrdes in 2001. I know the w203's have issues but at least they offer a different driving experience.

I can't imagine anyone buying a first year W203 over a Honda for reliability's sake. You couldn't pay me to take an 01 C-class.
My 2005 has 44,000. I bought it with 25,000 last July and I do 30,000 a year.
