cappa had this done long time ago. the horizontal slats be sure you have material that adds strength to it other than just fiberglass or it will easily crack with any flying rocks etc.

Thanks for the advice. im using fiberglass and bondo. hope it holds up well

lookin' good!

but the way i did it was by cutting out the vertical slats horizontally, so in the end i still had the horizontal slats for the most part haha. but looking awesome nonetheless!

so did you just cut the middle pieces out with a saw and then bondo and fiberglass? any pics on the car?
