Door Seal-Weatherstrip Replacement
I need to replace the rubber door seals on all of the doors. The rubber has shrunk and the driver's side is particularly bad.
Does anyone have any experience with this? If so please advise on the steps, tools, and materials needed. Thanks

Thought it might be useful to add to this thread... my weather strips were covered in wax, and I couldn't figure out how to clean them. Someone suggested Mothers Back to Black and it easily dissolved all the wax. You can tell by the feel of the stuff (its super oily) that it protects rubber well, from drying/cracking.

That's weird. EPDM is known to be extremely weather resistant.
Yes, you start from the bottom and pull. It's held on by some clips, so just pop the trim off the clips one by one.

I have a 2002. Its always been a west coast car. The rubber over time subjected to temperature changes, particulates in the air, etc has cause the seals to shrink.
I wasn't sure if one was suppose to use any kind of light glue before putting it on. I am going to place an order. I'll post pics later.
Thanks fellas
