I am completely out of 203 comands...the first parcel with comands is held by NY customs 
and the second parcel is just about to arrive there as well...
Out of experience I know California is easier to reach per parcel.
I will be in NY this saturday hoping I have at least 1 box at present to start installs with...those who did get in on this comand thing, keep track of the prgress and trip info since I am not sure when I will be where.
I do have all your email addresses and will get in contact with you (as soon as I know exactly how, what and when).
I hope to be in LA from 2-5 february till 12-17 february (depending on the workload prior to and in LA) after which I will move on to the bay area.
The RGB connectors (225-250USD) are STILL in backorder and this is something I cannot change. I was supposed to get 30 RGB connectors early January but the delivery has been postponed twice and MAYBE I will get some RGB connectors shipped to California but that is still doubtfull. I won't have RGB connectors available in NY; sorry!

Anyone that has the Euro Comand installed previously and has hooked up a dvd player/tv tuner have any pics available. I am very curious to see how it looks on the screen.

Mr. Bagwell I share your feelings, that is the main reason I wanted this Euro Comand, oh well what can you do... Does any body have any suggestions on how we can get these RGB plugs quicker? Maybe from the factory? And what kind of dvd will work with the comand? I want to buy one asap-BTW do dvd players come w/tv tuners? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I too was ready to go shopping for a DVD player to hook up to the comand. Patience, patience, patience.....
I've seen a DVD player/TV tuner for sale somewhere in internet land. Will have to search again. I am thinking of buying some headrests with monitors for the backseats.
Will the monitor be on and active while the car is in motion. Not that I think that is a good idea, but it would be nice for the passenger. I think I read that you can't after activating.

From what Steve told me...you should be able to watch TV/DVD while the car is in motion...whether its activated thru DAS or not, the electronic switch to disable viewing is not in the retro-fitted Euro COMANDs...(but I'm still paranoid to have it activated...!!!)

2. ANY DVD players with RCA jacks will work!

I was under the impression that the dvd player had to be a regional(or something along those lines) dvd player? Those the same go for the tv tuner?

If you want to add rear headrest, you most probably need an OEM MB TV tuner hooked up to the comand (comand itself does not support a second or third display as far as I know).
Being able to watch TV on the comand (while in motion) is something that has to be activated by the dealership...it is something that is switched off in standard setup.
RGB connectors are not made by any factory but are made by people whoc found a way to create a module with software that replaces the TV tuner (which is expensive...both tuner and wiring) in order to be able to connect a DVD player os PSII.
RGB connectors are made by different companies (in Germany) and are sold for 350 euro or more...I ordered these RGB connectors from a different company that offer them for a better price but unrfortunately they still haven't been able to deliver the RGB connectors (they are waiting for 1 of the hardware components to be delivered themselves).
The first 2 comands are installed during this trip (203 and 208) and now it is a matter of waiting for the other shipped boxes (crates) to arrive so I can get going.
