vacuum line help 01 C320

Greetings, I have a missing vacuum line on the back of the intake manifold on my 01 C320. It has a piece of black rubber about an inch long going nowhere. The diagram I have only shows the plastic line going to the purge valve and the line going to the top of the throttle body which are both connected. Also the plastic one going to the brake booter is connected. Does antbody no where this vacuum line connects coming off the steel niple on the back of the intake? Thanks for any advice/pict/diagram Tim

if you are talking about the line on the driver side manifold towards the rear the line on the 32's connected to the airbox. forgot if the normal M112's connected to anything. I remember MJ50 just leave it out on his 240 and it's fine.

Wow, I hope it doesn't go to the air box as that woul'd be hard to connect while putting on that big cover. I'm throwing a secondary air injection malfunction code also(P0410), but I don't believe it's related because all the vacuum lines for this appear to be on the front of the intake manifold. Can anyone confirm. Thanks

I had the p0410 also. replaced the check valve people have mentioned (back of engine on 2002 m111). pain to replace but its been a week with no CEL and the 30-60 second cold startup idle is much smoother.
