Swapping headlights for Bi-Xenon's

Ok here's the deal, i have a 2004 c230 with oem bi-xenons, both my parents have newer c230's as well. My mom is gettin somethin new so we're all swapping cars and trading in my 2004, so i'll be getting my dad's 2005.

His car has the regular halogen lights, is there anyway, w/out being a totall pain in the *** to swap out the lighting to give the 2005 HID's and put the halogens into the 2004?

As dumb as it is to have an older pre-facelift car, i'm gonna miss those HID's even when upgrading and getting the AMG bumpers, etc.

You can swap the BiX - not too difficult. You will loose the auto leveling which is a shame. There is much on the forum on doing this mod to standard cars without BiX.

yeah i did see a thread on the install, having to undo the wheel well lining and all...which is definately what i considered a pain in the *** lol. i might call the dealer to get an estimate to have them do it.

You'll also have to have the car reprogrammed to accept the bix.

Most of the time it is fine to leave it as is.
