Strut help!

hello! by any chance, anyone has pics of the difference between the regular struts and a sport edition strut. i want to be sure if there is a difference before i replace mine. i would like to use the sport ones if the are shorter than the regular ones on my 320 wagon. thanks in advance for the help!!!!

kool cuz i need something shorter than stock. so that it will lay when aired out. with the stock ones it wont drop much.

I had KYB and changed to Koni on my old Datsun (Nissan). Don't waste your money on KYB. You'll be changing them out after about 30k miles - just like the original Datsun shocks.

By the way, shocks don't have much influence on your ride height - it's the springs that do this. But - if you cut the springs (or installed short springs with std. shocks), then the shock isn't working in the middle part of the range of motion - thus any variable damping will be fouled up.

Get a 'cup kit'.
Shorter springs and appropriate shocks...or perhaps contact the
mfg and see if they just sell the struts...
Eibach or HR I think

thats why i am looking for a shorter one dmatre. when using shorter springs, i know theres less travel and maybe some bottom out in hard dips or bumps. i can be wrong but i dont think the difference between a regular C and either the sport or amg is merely based on the coil spring as far as handling and height is concerned.
