I was driving home from work i had my bass thumping and this ****er in his truck throws a ****ing a metal wrench at my car.. I got out of my car and hit his tail light with it and broke he tried to run the red light when i did this. Left me with a 3 inch dent in my car

Good thing i was driving my ****ty car at the time.

Frank I'll have to disagree.

This is coming from my friend that owns a bodyshop in S. El Monte. He used to make the molds for a lot of bodykits from VIS, until they had a falling apart. He also used to design and make kits out of fiberglass/polyurethane, and is soon going to have his plastic molding machine ready to make parts.

He's the one that told me that the PP sideskirts I got were a lot better than the regular polyurethane bs. I asked him the reasons and this is what he told me:

- PP is stiffer and stronger than PUR
- PP is closer to OEM as it pretty close to plastic
- Painting PP is a lot easier, and the paint adheres better compared to PUR
- PP injection molding allows certain things like screw holes etc to be made with good accuracy.
- PUR fitment is a *****, and seeing countless INGS+ reps and Mugen reps, it is definitely true.
- If there is a crack in the paint from PUR, it can overtime just flake out. The paint job will then start seperating from that single part and can flake off in a single layer.

This is what he told me, and I believe him as he's pretty much one of those well-known, but under the radar paint specialists. He did a lotta cars that were on magazines back in the day, and one of his more popular works was the Gold IS300 with the Top Secret kit. He's outta of scene now, and does insurance work, llolol.

Edit: And oh, OEM bumpers are not PUR.. If that was the case that

thanks...i like it better then oem. i got a pretty good deal on it from another member, only bad thing is, that its kinda flimsy compared to oem. So i have to be careful when i close my hood. but its not like i slam my hood anyways.

I like the 3 fin - has a better line on the bumper than the 4 fin. 4 Fin seems to float a bit.
