3 Fin Grille, Window Pillar, & Polypropylene
1.) New 3-Fin Grille. Does anybody have this Grille? I don't know about you guys but ever since the purchase of my CL Grille which is 4 Fins I always thought it looked a little funny...I think this 3-Fin is the solution!? However I was wondering if anyone has It because I would like to see it on the car first before purchasing. I will probably end up getting it regardless because the one I got from formymercedes.com just got damaged by a rock on the freeway and now the star is barely hanging on and the support behind it is cracked a little. It seems as if the the glue that was holding the star on just lost its hold when the rock hit it.

2.) Window Pillar. My window Pillar on the outside of the car was damaged by some a$$hole who decided to throw a bottle at my car. Luckily it didn't hit the car or mess up my window...I was wondering if anyone had the part number for this. I have seen the carbon fiber overlays but I don't like how they sit on top of the existing pillar leaving it with a embossed look. I have posted a picture of the damage below:

3.) Polypropylene. I have a friend in my class that has a w230 that was telling me he bought a Polypropylene bumper and that it was really good and way better than fiber glass. Is this true? Also how comparable in quality is it to Polyurethane?

i installed the 3 fin on my wife's 230. I don't have any pics uploaded, but I'll see what I can do.
are you sure your friend isn't talking about urethane bumpers? urethane and fiberglass are the only two materials i've ever seen that bumpers are made out of.

#2, is called an Ornamental Cover. Part# is A2036902987 for the drivers side front window. That is for the standard black one. For the carbon fiber one's, do a search, I know the part number was listed somewhere on a thread.
Not sure how hard it is to replace. I have a new one sitting in my garage to replace one of mine that got dented. Just haven't got around to replacing it yet

The 3-fin looks good un-installed. However, it looks a bit 'off' to me when installed. The top slat looks too vertical and makes it look a bit pushed in.

I can answer number 3. PP is much better than PUR. My sideskirts from JB Speed were PP, and they are much closer to OEM than most other materials like fiberglass, polyurethane, hybid-fiberglass etc.
It's easier to paint, more durable, and won't crack like the other materials do.

PP's not better than PUR. they're just different material. however PP is much harder to paint and less flexible than PUR. OEM bumpers are almost all PUR.

Does anybody know if the part pictured in the diagram labeled #6 is the part I am looking for? Just want to make sure before I order. And thanks frank for clarifying the difference between polypropylene vs polyurethane.

when i installed mine, i noticed it off. but i used a 1/8 rubber washer only onthe top screws, to push it back out.
