i've noticed on some of the c-class sedans that the A pillars in between front and rear windows are carbon fiber or have the carbon fiber design. is that part of the sports package? are those aftermarket? i have a C320 w/o the sports package and doesn't have that. just curious. thanks.

That comes with the sport package (avantgarde in europe)...these trims are stuck on the doors (instead of with screws like on the older 202s and 210s....so these are 1time useable parts).

The '06 Sport Sedan do not have the carbon fiber door pillars, but instead have a very glossy black molding that shows finger prints & smudges very easily. Can someone post a part # for the older versions if they will fit??? Other option is the CF vinyl but I'm afraid that it will end up looking cheap. Anyone done this??

Just for reference- its not the a pillar...that would be the front pillars that hold the windshield. You are talking about the B pillars- goes in order from A (front pillars), B (middle pillars that separates front and rear windows/cabin), and C (rear quarter pillars that gives you the lovely blind spot and connects the rear window as well)

Not even sure if b4chow is still around. Notice the thread date of 2003. I just used this instead of starting a newq one, as I found it searching for something on the B pillar covers. It happen to have the right title!

The oem b door pillars are expensive!

I called the dealership asking about them and they said it was something like 250 each. At that point, I gave up the search for them, but every now and then I'll ask people who post pillar covers for sale.

Thanks for the info! Has anyone tried using the carbon fiber look vinyl???? I bet it would be easy to do a search for this on a Honda forum.
