Location of rear speakers wires
I ran my main power and ground line for my sub amp today but was unable to see how to get to the rear speaker wires for the line input. I hope I do not have to remove the rear deck to get to the wires, do I? My car does not have a factory amp so anyone know if the speaker wires are accessible from the driver side rear panel or anywhere besides the removing the rear deck that seems like a lot of disassembly? I have searched for a while now and not found anything for a car without an amp. Thanks

Well I never really thought of that so my only speakers are in the rear doors? I just assumed because that is the location of most rear speakers in other cars. So if the speakers are just in the doors will the wires be in the floor in the bundle I ran my power line next to? If so anyone know what the colors are?

But didn't your first post say that you've been searching for a while now? I know that I've seen numerous threads regarding speaker location.

Yeah I found lost of posts on the location of the front speaker wires. I had no clue that the base did not have rear speakers in the deck no one really specified and the variance in sound systems causes a problem. I am not one to just post a question with out looking on my own first.

The speakers for the left side of the car have a connector under the sill plate of the drivers' door. The connector is X35/1 #3 pins 4 and 3. Pin 4 is a pink wire and is the (+) output for the rear door speaker. Pin 3 is a Brown-Pink wire and is the (-) output for the rear door speaker.

So is it safe to say the passenger side will have the wires for the right side in the same location? Anyone know there color?
Update:
I pulled both sides and both the wire color codes are the same! I think thats kinda odd but oh well thanks for all the help!

The right side of the car has the connector under the passenger door. The connector is X35/2 #3 pins 4 and 3 for the rear right speaker. The color of pin 4 is white(+) and the color of pin 3 is brown-white(-).

It would not the first time the wiring harness maker changed colors for an automaker, and documentation for service literature will be corrected later.
