Coupe power seats & fuel gauge
I took delivery of my coupe last Friday after a 5 month wait.
The manual (yes, I read the whole thing
) states that, when you flip the front seatbacks forward to get access to the back seats, the headrest lowers and the seat moves forward. My passenger seat does this, but the drivers seat only lowers the headrest. It doesn't move forward at all. Anyone with power seats: Is this normal? Am I missing something? I would think that if the passenger seat can move forward the driver's should as well.
My fuel gauge only reads 3/4 when full. The dealer told me this before I took delivery and ordered a new fuel sender (back-ordered). I've seen many posts on this board about this same problem, but haven't heard of any solutions. I'd hate for them to rip the car apart, replace the sender, and find that the problem still exists (along with any new problems created by the disassembly). Anyone have this problem fixed yet? I may just wait it out before I bring it in for service. My car doesn't want to be a guinea pig
.
I don't think replacing the fuel sender will require tearing the car apart. All that should be necessary is lowering the tank and replacing the sending unit.

If it had only been for the faulty sensor I would have had my car back the very same day.
Good luck!
