I figured I'd post this here and ask my question...


These LEDs are dark red... the camera makes them lighter... and I have no idea what I want to do w/ the background if anything...

Resistors EVERYWHERE!!!!!








I didn't push the needles in all the way so there is the "overexposed shadow effect...."

Question(s): Are ICs swappable at all? If so, can an SDS program the cluster for the car it's going in?

Very slick. How do you get that date display? It doesn't show that for me?

ic's are swappable, however mileage is not. You cannot reprogram mileage unless the cluster has less than 1000 miles on it.

I had Steve program it for me... It also shows fuel remaining... and some other things I think.

Really? I thought mileage is stored in an independent unit... (I ask this question because I may need to swap IC's for warranty/sale of car)

I didn't know our cars had unused TPMS lights in their clusters. Dang I want Steve to do some programming in my cluster so I can have date and fuel remaining!

If you don't have active TPMS, ask him to program in Passive TPMS too.

It actually works. It uses the ABS/ESP system to calculate low tire pressure... I drove over a nail on the freeway, and the mod picked it up with a little "Check tire pressure" or something... Same goes for getting new tires/wheels

Uhh Status 8 ~ Voided warranty... I'm on the fence of fighting for it back or not... If you're on mymbonline, you can search for my topics and just read all the crap that happened to my car. (ABS/ESP/Power steering/etc...)

If they find out about it... MBUSA won't give me a straight answer, but they pointed fingers at my CF Fabric trim and CF hood. So I said F--- this and returned my car back to stock.

CF Hood? how did you like that? I've been interested in one. How was fitment and where did you get it?

I liked it... Went well with the other CF parts on my car... (trim, spoiler, mirror covers...)

It fit pretty well for an aftermarket hood, but mine had broken strut mounts and the top grille wasn't flush.... It was branded VIS Racing and I bought it from another member a few months ago...

Thanks... My car was a lot better when I had all my mods... I wish I did this earlier and made a proper photoshoot.... ah well.

I never knew the C55 had that.... Now I want some other color.

Anyway, I went out to get dinner and I took my camera. This will probably be my last pic regarding this.
