one would assume the pinouts are the same as the Cassette since
it's plug and play, no modifications of the connectors.

I owe you one.
I was basically looking to see if I can somehow modify the cd changer connectors to analog so I could plug in my ipod. But since the DéA conversion happens inside the unit, I dont see how thats possible.

You can buy a device that does that....
I think it's called Dice or something, but the cost is rediculous.

Have you seen the thread where you can modify the HU to accept an aux in,
in place of the tape? You have to cut some traces etc. Solder wires.
It's here somewhere.

Yikes....$469!!
I didnt like the idea of cutting up the insides of my head unit.....so the denision ice was my preferred option...but after looking at the price tag, im better off opening up the head unit.
