C240 (2002) 2-5-Random Misfire/Check Engine
My 2002 C240 had a check engine light come on after "got on" the car a little bit. My friend checked it on his computer and it had an error message of 2-5-Random Misfire. He cleared it and we drove again normally and it was fine but if he hammered it the check engine light would come on and he would reset over and over.
I just changed my spark plugs that I bought from the MB dealer and the ran fine for a week before these started. We checked all wire and air filters and the gas cap. I use premium gas also.
Please help this is my first MB and it only has 33K on it.

Mark Coils, Move coil packs & wires to other cylinders, If misfire moves with the swap you know you have damaged wires or coil packs - Good luck - You & me both have very low mile C240s, I'm just 30,000 miles trouble free.
