Child Lock Feature on passenger doors for '06 SS..
I can't find this in the manual.. and I can't find anything in the rear doors..
is there a switch or anything that will enable the Child-Lock feature? even my old 98 Mitsubishi Lancer have this...
The only thing mentioned in the manual is to disable the passenger window..
thanks in advance..

the 2005s dont have one either, i'm pretty sure your's wont have one either. i switched mine to the metal pins from ebay, it's shorter such that when the doors are locked the top of the pin is flushed with the surrounding, therefore a child (even an adult) cant unlock the rear doors. hope this helps.

when i haul my young cousin’s in my car i just remove both pins and the problem is solved. i know that doesn’t look good but i cant find any pins i like besides the normal ones. lol and spending 30 to 50 dollars on pins i thought was a little bit of a waist i can use that money for much better things. I still think that it is funny that Mercedes doesn’t have them on the doors it looks like there is a hole where they would go but they are not their. Guess Mercedes figures if the kid opens the door and falls out it is their fault. Lol when I was 6 I was in the back of an eagle if any of you know what that is lol. And my dad went around a corner and the door flew opened and I almost fell out luckily I was in a parking lot and had my seatbelt on but that was scary.

I never saw it in the manual either. It seems it is a variant on child-proof locks in that I believe the rear door does not unlock until one of the fronts is opened, i.e., the rear passenger can't just pull the handle; the door will be locked. I assume they could pull up the pins anyway though.
