Why didn't you take pics of the front of the rim? The membership on here could help you identify these. Why not take pics of the stamped # info on the inside of the rim? ETC. You want help but are not providing that which the membership can use to help you.

How 'bout pics of the rim? Nobody's trying to ban you, but if you really want help, it's best you be up front about everything with pics to show us what you're talking about. Showing us pics of the spacer won't help.

sorry but I thought that you might need pics of the spacer and the back of the rim didnt think what the rim itself really made much of a differance.

Look, I'm not exactly into internet forums or anything, I just had a problem and was hoping to find some answers. Sorry to any calling BS but it isn't. I thought maybe I could shed some light onto this situation and maybe learn a little on the way. I didn't see any numbers on the rims.

If the date on your camera pic is to be believed than this issue has been in existance for over 1 year. AMG wheels carry an identification stamp on the front, don't come in chrome from the factory and carry an info stamp on the inside. Now, if you would've STFF'd the forum you would've been able to ID fake from real on this issue. Sorry, but your digging and its making it harder to believe.

Dog, because no one knows you on this board, the symptoms you discussed did not match, you had a difficult time figuring out the situation. The list goes on and on!
In the grand scheme of things, I could care less. HOWEVER, I truly would not want yours or the public getting hurt over this.

Especially with someone who claims to be married, yet can't capitalize nor spell the most basic words.
You are concerened that it happened to more than you. I call you sir, a liar. I asked what dealership it was. Not until approx two weeks later did you give the dealers name.
The fact is, we have members who would DRIVE out to the dealership to help out, Me being one of them. We have members who have put many a paragraph together, yet, you have no outcome and grainy pics of a log floating in a lake in Scotland. Get my meaning? Or are you too young to get the reference.
So really at the end of the day, you can be helped but prefer to be the eternal damsel in distress.

I think it's very simple.
If your situation is for real and you purchased what you thought was a brand new 2007 C230 SS, then there are certain facts that should be just that...fact. 1) Dealership Invoice would indicate the price of the rims and 2) Car will be under full warranty for 4 years 50,000 miles (no free service).
Assuming those two pieces of information were not available to you, you should have an open and shut case because A) the rims that are on your car are not factory, B) you have spacers on a car that does not require spacers with OEM wheels, C) anything like this should be 100% covered under warranty, D) A "brand new" car should never have this sort of problem ever.
All that being said, there's nothing more to discuss or argue. Go get paid. The more you come back and argue your case (without taking care of the situation), the less people are likely to believe you and your credibility shrinks smaller than it already was (considering you don't post much and are a newbie).
I expect the NEXT post from you to be an explanation on what the dealership has done to resolve the issue and that you either have a new car or have your car set up as it should be (to FACTORY spec).
