porting M271 supercharger
I was going to port mine and bore the throttle body, yet without at least an ECU remap, the gains won't be worth the effort.
How can you respectfully disagree, yet only comment on a M111?
Please stay on topic and don't give the OP false hopes. The M111 SC runs at 7psi, not 11 psi like the M271. So there's a LOT of room for the M111 ECU to self adjust, nevermind the ECU nannies in the M271. Evosport gave up pulley production for this M271 cause they couldn't crack the ECU nannies. Kleemann runs the K-box to get around the ECU nannies.

I expected this....
Ohh right, no one running Eaton S/C have gotten gains from Porting? Wait, I'm not on topic....Sheesh.
Too a point the ECU can and will compensate. I agree the M111 had a better ability to run and compensate. I didn't need software tuning to do it. To my knowledge no one has ported an M271 motor. So the gains remain to be seen.
Link, google Steig performance. Name of the company is in the sig.
They have forgotten more about S/C performance than this board knows. They would be the experts. Last I did business with them, they have a money back guarantee. No gains, no charge. You need a before and after dyno.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
There has been few gains on the M271. The ECU cannot compensate.
While you are correct that others have ported a MP45 SC and seen gains, no-one has done it on a Mercedes Seimens ECU for good reason.
