Should I do this?
I currently have 07 C230 and I am thinking of trading it in for a new 08 328i sedan. The 328i comes almost fully loaded, but we are not finding common language at the dealership as they are trying to tell me that is OK for me to loose almost 50% of the value of my car, but not OK for them to lose 20% of the value of their car. However, I believe they are about to agree to my terms.
Anyway, do you guys think I should do it?
P.S.
I already checked at my local MB for C300 or C350, but they are impossible to deal with.

Nothing wrong with my car. Currently I am looking at just about 32000 miles on the clock.
To be honest, I always felt that the 3 series offered more luxury than the C class.

How loaded is your C-Class?
I've driven quite a few 328i's as loaners over the years and I have to say that they are absolute and utter garbage. Everytime I've driven a 328i, I seem to get a headache from the floaty suspension that feels like it's from a Dodge. I thought that it was an "ok" car at first, but the more seat time I've had in them, I really have come to hate them.
The transmission is better than the 7G-tronic, it has a few more horses, but that's about it. As far as being more "luxurious" I would say it's a wash, the interior of the e90 is very plasticky and the fake leather surfaces is a lot worse than the MB fake leather.
The only non-M e9x I would consider is a 335i. To me, the engine in the 328i is just a waste--the 335i blows it out of the water in every possible way.

Thanks for your thoughts. My C is far from fully loaded, but it has all the options I like with the exceptions of Bi-X. It has the sunroof, power seats and steering wheel plus some other things.
I am not in a rush in any way, just want to make sure if I was to trade my C that it would be for a better car.

lol...a sport packaged 328i absolutely drives the same as the 335i except power.
a 08 328i = not facelifted = not worth it if they can't even give you a lot of discount. unless you are really looking at the coupe.

My girl used to have a 330ci and I use to find the interior more appealing that the interior in my C. Also, besides the test drive of the 328i the other day, I don't have much more time behind the wheel. I like the car, but I don't find myself wanting it the way I wanted the C class.
I don't know, I might just keep the car until I save some $$ for E350.

The only thing the car is good for is it's HP. That's about it. As for the transmission it is more responsive that the 7G
BUT
The interior
Save up some money and get the E550. The 350 is OK. Power isn't that great IMO. BUt the E550 now thats a different story.
