I lead a very busy lifestyle away from the forum. Karo PMed me for help on a family vehicle & I obliged. Don't know why it bothers you so much - I'm off to dinner with fine company & good Cape wine. Yeah it's winter - no rain at the moment.

I think I solved the problem. When the fuel tank is low I get a Check Engine Light- Mass Airflow Sensor. But when the fuel is full there are no errors.
I am suspecting the problem is the fuel filter since it has never been changed. Since it is dirty during low fuel the pump struggles to pump fuel because the filter is soo dirty therefore throwing a check engine light (thinking its the mass airflow).

P.S. Yesterday we changed the fuel filter 80 dollars (not bad). So we will see how it goes.
