i LOVE the wood trim....makes the car so much more classy and elegant

but than again, it looks best with a lighter interior than black.

plus mines a stick shift...you know if the size of the hole in the center peice is the same size for manual and automatic ?

I had a dealer quote me the parts awhile back, the black birdseye maple was 1185 for all pieces, so I am sticking with the aluminum. I've replaced the center console piece myself a couple times, it's only $50-$60 and it pops out easily. It sucks, cuz I just dropped my keys on it both times and it gouged it. The material looks great but I have to stop people from even thinking about resting anything on it.

hmm i think the hole should be the same, but not sure about the top row buttons, yours are the more rounded ones right?

shifter hole is the same size.

upper switch row and the lower a/c control are screwed on to the face plate with few T-25 torx screws. easily removable. 2005-2007 interior trims are all interchangeble.

have taken apart W203's interior numerous times from 2001-2007.

To find the part numbers required to replace the aluminum trim with the wood panels, find a VIN for 2007 C230, which would bring up dark birdsye maple trim that the C230's had on the sport sedans. Go to the EPC online and do some searching.

I came up with price of about $1000 to change everything out. I am planning on doing it in stages myself.

and ya, I have the same size row as you just more buttons...i didnt know that comes seperate however...I'm still working on getting pics of my car, I'm in the military and don't go to my car everyday so its taking me probably till this weekend...though i do have some scratches on my trim which is why i want to replace it...

The door trim is also known as garnish molding. The window regulator panels are the lower panels in the front doors where the switches are. The upper control panel is the trim around the button cluster under the center vents. And the lower control panel is the one around the environmental panel located above the ash tray.

its not the smooth aluminum finish, theres kinda like lines on it..

ya thas what I am talking about...I just replaced all my trim from the silver to the wood...so I have all my silver trim out and sitting in my trunk right now! unfortunately the shifter trim was for the automatic and therefore my shifter boot is currently resting on top of the trim until I can come across one for the manual!
