Maf Sensor

Alright, so I've been looking through old posts and doings searches on 2 different forums, and still I cant find the DIY Maf Sensor Cleaner (using CRC MAFF Cleaner) for the 2006 to 2007 (2.5 V6 models) C230's. Can someone help me out cause im going insane looking for this damn thread.

I just need some photos to show me where the maf sensor is, how to take it out, and what kind of screws I need to remove from the air filter box.

This would honestlty be a HUGE help as I am having a very very very small rough idle and I know its from the MAF since Im running K&N's.

Thanks guys

I replaced the MAF on my 2002, so I can't be too much help. But you should be able to follow the path from the airbox through the piping to get to the MAF. There should be a plug at the bottom.

That is a pic of a replacement MAF that I found on a Yahoo search (page down for a pic of it). You can see that there are two screws that you need to remove to get it out.

On mine, one of the screws was a royal PITA to get to, and getting the piping back together required a little force, but easy otherwise. Good luck - hope it fixes your issue.

havent replaced a MAF on my car yet but have on other cars. im not sure you have to remove the whole piping assembly, you should be ok with unscrewing the wholes that hold the MAF in place. Pay attention to which way it was facing sometimes theres a little arrow engraved in it otherwise when you go back to put it in it wont work properly.
