Your priorities are not in order, Mercedes Benz first in garage everything else is second including the family!

If I had it my way I would end up being the one sitting outside

At the rate we are going through cars I could probably leave the car outside in acid rain and never wax it and it would still look like new, so I don't worry too much about it being outside for 2 months Agony is when someone else drives the car...like the valet (I would prefer to park the car myself). Mercedes should use the Porsche mentality, have a special valet key that prohibits the engine from reving over 3000rpm, no heat and no radio (at least that is what my uncle told me, he had a Porsche 996).

The only one who drives my car is my wife and the dealership and both scare me to death. I park my vehicle and I never have a valet touch my vehicle. I also hand wash my vehicle. I worked very hard for this car and I do not want anything to happen to it except for normal wear and tear because all vehicles aquire this in time.

I understand what you mean. My first couple of cars probably got better treatment from me than anything else I owned...I hate to say this...after a while I started not to care as much about the cars anymore, even though I still care more for my cars than most people, and I hate the ideas of carwashes. I guess don't obsess about the car like I did at the beginning (it drove me paranoid when I left my car in a parking lot) but take good care of it, which it sounds you are doing.

Cool, I wish it snowed here, even in the mountains at high elevations we are only getting rain. When I lived in NY I loved driving in the snow, specially a large vacant virgin snow parking lot.

Anyone interested in 16" rims for snow tires and chains? Still have them for $400....

Don't mean to hijack the thread, as this is relevant - a few more shots of snow in the DC area. Some serious snow, really - fallen in just one day.
