You can only rotate staggered tires from side to side if they are an asymmetrical tread (non-directional tread design).

If they are directional (arrow on sidewall pointing one direction), you can not rotate because you will reverse the proper rotating direction of the tire, meaning the tire tread is backwards.

you can dismount them and remount them to the other side.

in other words...flip your tires because once you lower your car the tire is going to be cambered so you will eventually get inner wear so keep an eye on it and once you start to see wear flip the tire so the inner wear is now on the outside.

The first picture (5-spoke) are the '05-'06 stock sport wheels, and the second picture is the '07. Between the two, I personally like the '05-'06, but the '07 are a staggered set. What color is your car? I'd post some pictures of it to give us a better idea of the total picture.

On second thought, I think a coupe with aggressive '07 wheels would look pretty mean!

The first set of wheels from the 05 are also staggered. I personally like the 2nd set...

Oh wow, I didn't know the '05-6 were staggered as well. Learn something new everyday!

The tires on the 05-06 come staggered (225 up front, 245 rear), but the rims are the same width so it is possible to put four matching tires on. The 2007 rims look to be different widths, not sure if that is really the case though. You can see the front of my car in my signature with its stock wheels (which I like very much).

That said, I prefer the 2007 rims on the sedan. Not sure about the coupe, would need pics.

Edit: Second photo is the front wheel of an 07 C350 Sport. I want one.

Yes, the '07 wheels are different widths, and the spokes on the back angle out and back in nicely for a more aggressive look. And how can you tell that the '07 wheel pic up top is a 350 rather than a 230... looks exactly like my car.

The rim looks just like your car. The 4-piston front caliper gives it away as a C350. We C230s have 2-piston fronts. And I thought that was the case about the 07 rims being different widths. The 04.5-06 Sport rims like my car are all the same width of 7.5", IIRC. I got behind a car identical to mine one day that had four matching tires. Made it look less aggressive to me.. I'll keep the staggered tires.

225/45-17 for the front
245/40-17 for the rear

That's what tire rack has for my car. I assume that's what's on there now. I don't know about spacers.

Yes. My tire sizes are exactly the same. Oh and Dr. Fox - 07 wheels FTW!

OP:

Step 1: See photos of Dr. Fox Coupe
Step 2: Buy 07 Rims, ASAP
