None made that I know of. The only thing I know to get is a new air filter. ITG or K&N

why not just make your own, thats what a lot of people did, and i believe evosport is coming out with a design for an air intake. But for the CLK's, might wanna PM Ben and ask him if they are considering it. BTW, when some people put air intakes in their car, some report HP loses when they do the Dyno.

i havent made my own, but i believe you need tubing (plastic) some clamps and the air filter at the end. Im not sure, search for homemade intake and see what comes up.

Dragon Intakes also makes intakes for Mercedes but this is for a C280. Maybe you could modify it to make it fit. Its always a possibility. I had a dragon intake in my ML320 and it was great, although i doubt i got any HP gains, the car sounded a lot better when it was idle. Boy i miss my ML.

Isn't the air intake on the C230K already in the front?
Where else can you move it?

Don't know much about the coupes with the little motors but I got 3-4 RWHP out of my K&N and ITG and close to 6 RWHP increase with no filter on my car with the ASP pulley on my 2.3L. With 4 RWHP on the ITG drop in panel I don't believe you can get too much more than that. Any filter can't flow as well as no filter so 4 is pretty good, specially for $60. Keep in mind that this is at top end, 5,000 rpm+ so it's not much that you will feel in day to day driving.
Beware in making your own CAI, it's tempting to attach a cone filter and have it hanging there. Make sure it's mounted securely.
You can also benefit about the same amount with a free flowing exhaust, not the kind typically sold to MB customers, a real high flow exhaust.

What do you suggest doing with the second inlet? All it's going to do is get air to the outside of the air box. Mine is opened up, but only because I once tried a K&N cone and this helped get more air to the cone.

How'd the cone filter work? Not too good, I assume.

The cone worked okay. I don't think there was much of an increase in power, at least not that I could feel. There was probably some, since the panel filters add a little power. It didn't have a deep growling sound, but the supercharger whine was much louder. And you could hear the bypass valve open when you lifted off the throttle. It sounded kinda like a blow off valve, but it wasn't very loud.
But the problem is that there isn't enough plastic on the intake to clamp the filter onto. And the tighter you screwed the hose clamp, it just wanted to slide off the end. I thought I had it somewhat secure, and I put some wire ties around it to hold it if it fell off.
Well, it fell off AND out of the wire ties. Luckily it didn't get in the belts, but I think it got caught in the fan, because the car started to get hot. I got a warning when the temp went over 100C, but luckily I was just about home. I might try it again someday and see if I can secure it better, but part of the cone is chewed up.
BTW, the part number is RU-1480 for the cone that I used. It fits pretty well even though the intake opening is slightly oval. And it's only about 30 bucks.
