Seats move automaticlly?

Hey guys, i didnt know this but i have a question, i remember my friend's e320 had this feature but im not sure if my 06 c230 has this too, When he entered the car and put the key in the ignition, the chair moved in automaticlly, when he turns off the engine the chair moves back so he can exit comfortably, does my C230 have this feature too? how do i enable it?

Thanks alot.

If you have memory seats, you do. By the door trims on each front door you would see a seat and buttons marked 1,2,3. It is quite obvious if you have the option or not.

Another way to tell is if your seat buttons are on the lower left seat bottom trim and a manual forward-aft adjustment lever.

where are the buttons you use to adjust your seats?
if there not located on the doors, you dont have full power seats and no 'easy entry/exit' feature. simple as that.

[most c230 dont have this]

No you don't have the feature. You have partial powered seats like most C230s. My C230 has the memory seat package, so I have the feature - however I find it useless and think it adds excessive wear to the components.

Is the feature a setting? We have the feature in our S550, but not our SL... both have memory seats.

Explain? Because I thought that if you didnt have the control buttons on your door than this option was not available on your car.

I believe he's talking about the SL. and yes you must have the full power seats to have the option.

Drew- I think since its a 2 seater, theres no easy entry/exit feature and if there is, it has to be activated through the MFD.

I was more asking for Matt. I'm not really a fan of the feature either... I feel like a little kid when I get into the car and can't reach the pedals. I'm glad I don't have it on my car.

But Drew you are a wittle kid, aren't you?

If the feature is there it is in the IC under "Convenience" in the settings menu. I have it, but keep it disabled. It results in excessive wear on the motors, but that's not the reason I don't use it. I don't need it and it annoys me.

Hey! I'm a big kid, mister!

I guess I'll have to look harder. I looked for it in the S-class and didn't see it.
